2015 is the Year of the Goat in the Chinese zodiac, which Magyar Posta is celebrating on a miniature sheet. According to the Chinese zodiac, this year will be the year of hope, typified by harmony and peace. Although wars and conflicts rage in many parts of the world, the Year of the Goat will be a year of peace and compromises. The miniature sheet of four stamps contains two tête-bêche pairs with the same goat motifs but with different colour schemes. The graphic artist Imre Benedek also designed the first day cover and postmark to match the miniature sheet. Sixty-five thousand copies of the miniature sheet were produced by ANY Security Printing Company. The miniature sheet will be available at large post offices and Filaposta in Hungary from 19 February, but may also be purchased from Magyar Posta’s webshop.
