CONFIRMATION OF DELIVERY FOR DOMESTIC PARCELS WITH ADVICE OF DELIVERY

We will always tell you when the addressee has received the parcel you sent. The document in proof of receipt is returned to you on paper.

WHAT DOES THE ADVICE OF DELIVERY SERVICE OFFER?

When delivering postal parcels sent under this service, acknowledgement of receipt of the mail item is obtained from the addressee or the authorised recipient on the advice of delivery form, and this is then returned to you. The unique identifier of the postal parcel allows you to track the progress of the parcel.

HOW CAN YOU USE THE SERVICE?

If you wish to send a postal parcel using the advice of delivery additional service, you only need to complete the form on paper before posting.

INTERNATIONAL ADVICE OF DELIVERY

When delivering international parcels sent under this service, acknowledgement of receipt of the mail items is obtained from the addressee or the authorised recipient. Then we return to you the document in proof of this on paper, which has evidentiary value in legal proceedings. However, in international mail not all foreign postal operators undertake to obtain the signature of the addressee on the advice of delivery slip but instead delivery is certified by the postal operator on the advice of delivery slip by a postal signature and a date stamp. You can check on our Country Guide page whether or not the postal operator in a given destination country undertakes this activity.

For information about the price of the service, see our Tariffs page or the product sheet, or ask at a post office.
